Orthopedic physiotherapy involves the treatment of problems related to the musculoskeletal system. These problems can be the result of sports injuries, surgery, repetitive movements, improper postures or wrong movement, among other causes. Sometimes pain or limitations may appear for no specific reasons and it is also the role of the physiotherapist to help you identify the source of these problems.

First Appointment:

Initially, through a thorough evaluation comprising various physical tests, I will be able to understand your condition and then determine with you the best treatment plan.

We will then begin treatment during the first session.

I typically use different therapeutic tools such as manual therapy, dry needling (or Trigger Point Therapy), cupping, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), depending on your condition and needs.

Additionally, education related to your condition, appropriate advice, and a specific exercise program will be provided. This aspect is often crucial for preventing recurrence and treating the problem at its source.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of musculoskeletal conditions for which I can help you:

  • Back problems (low back pain, herniated disc, lumbar sprain)
  • Sciatica (sciatic nerve pain)
